Trading a long river valley between high mountains for vast planes with big lakes - Josh Lawrence seems willing to make that move. With HC Sierre until yesterday, the forward is joining the Lahden Pelicans instead for the remainder of the season.

The Pelicans are currently inhabiting the 14th (of 16) spot in the Liiga, with 48 points from 38 games. Adding a player with 20 goals and 24 assists over the same amount of games might give them the necessary boost to avoid any form of relegation.
