Home, sweet home - the Finn is headed back to his hometown for the autumn of his on-ice career.

After five years in Switzerland as a member of EHC Biel, Jere Sallinen is returning to Finland. There, he has signed a three-year deal with his hometown club Kiekko-Espoo.
Sallinen last played for Espoo in 2012, when they were still the Espoo Blues. His hockey journey took him from there to fellow Liiga team HPK, followed by Örebro, two years with Jokerit in the KHL, a season in the AHL, back to Örebro, then to HIFK, before bringing him to Biel and now back to Espoo.
