As reported by hockeysverige.se, the former forward of Genève-Servette HC wants to move closer to his family.

For the next two seasons, Dmytro Timashov will play in the KHL, specifically for Admiral Vladivostok. The Swede, whose father is Russian, has already played in the KHL before: he had started the 2024-25 season with HK Sochi. The 28-year-old then joined Genève-Servette HC in January 2025.
In Geneva, Timashov scored two goals and collected seven assists in 22 regular-season games.
