Sebastian Benker was acquired as an injury replacement for HC Thurgau's Daniel Ljunggren. His contract with the team now ended and he was free to sign with the Frederikshavn White Hawks.
The forward, who played for Östersunds IK last season, appeared in nine games for HC Thurgau, recording four goals and five assists.
