EV Zug entered the return game with a 3-2 deficit from the first leg. After 25 minutes, the Bulls were down 3-0, but then managed to close the second period only one goal behind, thanks to Gregory Hofmann and Tomáš Tatar. The comeback attempt, however, stopped there with no more goals scored in the final "20 minutes". Luleå HF will thus face Frölunda HC in the final.
