The veteran player has been found guilty of checking the head of Tigers' forward Oskars Lapinskis on Tuesday.
For their weekend's games against EV Zug (Saturday) and the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers (Sunday), HC Davos will have to make do without their captain Andres Ambühl. In addition to the suspension, the 41-year-old must pay a fine of CHF 4'000.-.
In the first four games of his 23rd season, Ambühl has collected two assists while averaging 12:39 minutes on the ice per game.
