A Slew-Footing incident has led to disciplinary consequences for the Finnish defenseman.
The current first- and second-placed National League teams were facing off last night. Halfway through the second period, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' Julius Honka and HC Davos' Rasmus Asplund were involved in a battle for the puck. Honka's actions in that situation were deemed a violation of IIHF Rule 52 (Slew-Footing) by the single judge, and thus a one-game suspension plus a fine of CHF 2,500.- were issued.
