François Beauchemin has been suspended for a check to the head of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' David Eugster in the 55th minute of play of the game on February 27. He has been fined CHF 800.
Fellow HCB Ticino Rockets player Colin Fontana received his second game misconduct penalty which leads to an automatic one-game suspension. Fontana will have to pay a fine of CHF 600. The same applies to SC Langenthal's Tyler Higgins.
The Rockets appealed the verdict of the single judge regarding Fontana and Beauchemin. However, both appeals were rejected. The two players thus remain suspended.
