A crosscheck to the head of an opponent has landed the defenseman in disciplinary trouble.

Shortly before the second intermission of Game 3 of the Swiss League semifinal series between EHC Basel and EHC Olten, the guests' Bastien Pouilly cross-checked Dario Kummer to the head. Penalized as high sticking on the ice, the incident has drawn attention from the SIHF's disciplinary wing. Proceedings have been initiated against Pouilly, and he has received a provisional one-game suspension.
