HC Fribourg-Gottéron's forward has been suspended for two games and fined CHF 1800, as he committed a check to the head/neck area of HC Lugano's Cole Cormier.

During last Saturday's game, which HC Fribourg-Gottéron won 4-0, Kevin Etter illegally hit Cole Cormier above his shoulders. The scene was investigated and the single judge now came to his verdict. Etter already sat out one of the two games.
Etter also plays on loan for HC Thurgau and has only appeared in two National League games this season.
