HC Fribourg-Gottéron appeals verdict of Nemeth

HC Fribourg-Gottéron requested that the suspensive effect be granted and that the suspension be reduced to two games. Nemeth received a five-game suspension for SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' Jonas Taibel in the game on March 30.

The SIHF court has already denied their request for suspensive effect. They have, however, yet to make a decision regarding the appeal of the reduction of the sentence. Nemeth will thus definitely also miss tomorrow's game and will then have sat out two games of his five-game suspension.

In other news, "La Liberté" reports that Kyle Rau (lower-body injury) was not able to practice today.  As for Andrea Glauser, it seems unlikely that he will be able to play again this season, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
