Marvin Rötheli has been suspended for cross-checking EHC Basel's Ueli Hueber to the head area. This is a violation of IIHF Rule 59.2. He will miss the GCK Lions next game.
Anthony Staiger, for his part, has been issued a one-game suspension for slew-footing EHC Chur's Greg Halberstadt in the 53rd minute of the game against EHC Chur. He will not be available to EHC Winterthur for the next game.
