Fribourg's request unsuccessful - HC Davos' Brendan Lemieux not suspended

In the last seconds of yesterday's game, the first in the final series between HC Davos and HC Fribourg-Gottéron, Brendan Lemieux received a major penalty for charging Christoph Bertschy. After the game, HCFG sent a request to the disciplinary department so that the case would be automatically analyzed by the Single Judge. However, both the Single Judge and the Player Safety Officer agreed that no suspension was warranted.

Game 2 of the final series will take place tomorrow in Fribourg. HCFG leads the series 1-0.
