So fühlt es sich also an – Finalluft. Nach 19 langen Jahren konnte der EVZ sie wieder schnuppern. Es blieb allerdings beim Schnuppern. Nach einem missglückten Auftakt steigerte sich der EVZ von Spiel zu Spiel und kämpfte sich in die Serie zurück. Just als sich das Momentum nach dem zweiten Overtime-Sieg in Folge und vor der kapitalen fünften Partie in der Hauptstadt auf Zuger Seite befand, schlugen die Bären – provoziert durch das Zuger Kitzeln – mit einer Heftigkeit zurück, dass die Zuger chancenlos blieben.

It’s crunch time! EV Zug has made it and advanced to the finals for the first time since 1998. There, they will face reigning champions SC Bern in the best-of-seven series starting tomorrow.
