According to the "Berner Zeitung", the 30-year-old goaltender had to leave the game after only four minutes of play.
Luca Boltshauser suffered an undisclosed injury when he moved from side to side in his goal in the game between the SCL Tigers and Genève-Servette HC. It is not yet clear how severe his injury is.
Boltshauser has appeared in eleven games for the Tigers this season, recording .905 save percentage.
