As Noah Delémont himself tells the "Bieler Tagblatt", the recovery process is going well, and being able to do some laps and a few exercises on the ice was especially important on a mental level: "On the ice, I really realized again why I play ice hockey and why I love it. That feeling when you feel the wind. I haven't had that for far too long. It's good to feel like an ice hockey player again. I really missed that."
Delémont tore his cruciate ligament at the end of January and is expected to be out of EHC Biel's lineup for seven to nine months. The road to full recovery is still long, but the 22-year-old has taken an important step towards the comeback.
