The two defensemen are sidelined with recently sustained injuries and will thus be unavailable to head coach Dan Tangnes.
In Elia Riva's case, the 27-year-old suffered an upper-body injury on January 2, during EV Zug's first game of 2025. Livio Stadler, for his part, has been out since right before Christmas. He had to undergo surgery for a hand/arm injury. Both are expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
