Simas Ignatavicius to play for GSHC this season, several players injured

Simas Ignatavicius will continue his development with the Grenats. The forward was drafted in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers this summer.

While the Lithuanian is ready to hit the ice again, Marco Miranda, Jérémie Bucheler, Tim Bozon, and Tanner Richard were not present for the first practice session of the preseason. 

Miranda underwent surgery earlier this summer and should be able to join the team at some point this week. Bucheler, for his part, is dealing with an infection. He will return to the lineup once he has recovered. 

As for Tim Bozon, it is not clear when he will make his comeback. He will undergo further testing to determine the length of his absence. Tanner Richard, for his part, is not close to a comeback.
