According to the "Südostschweiz", the 34-year-old forward did not play in the last few minutes of Game 4.
The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers will face HC Fribourg-Gottéron in Game 5 of the quarterfinal series tonight. The series is currently tied. Whether Tanner Fritz will be able to be part of the game remains to be seen.
The Lakers' head coach Johan Lundskog was not willing to disclose anything to the newspaper about the health status of Fritz. The Canadian has appeared in six postseason games for the Lakers, recording one goal and one assist.
