The 29-year-old forward had to be taken off on a stretcher after getting tangled up with Tom Wilson in last night's game against Canada.

Kevin Fiala underwent medical exams which revealed that he is dealing with a lower-leg injury and will not be able to play again in this Olympic tournament. According to Elliotte Friedman ("Sportsnet"), Fiala will not play again this season.
Fiala put up one assist for Switzerland in the two games he played in this tournament.
