After a hit by the Bears' Marco Müller near the boards, Sandro Schmid limped of the ice and went to the locker room. He did not return to the game.
Head coach Roger Rönnberg told the "Freiburger Nachrichten" after the game that the forward would undergo medical exams on Tuesday, but had not further update on Schmid.
