Medical Report

According to "La Liberté", the 33-year-old forward is not close to a comeback. He might even miss the start of the playoffs.

"He's not ready to train, we're a long way from him returning to play. We can't plan anything because we have to see how his body reacts on a day-to-day basis," Roger Rönnberg, head coach of HC Fribourg-Gottéron, tells the newspaper.

Sörensen is dealing with a complex lower-body injury, which he needs to recover from completely or else he will risk re-injuring it again. There is a chance he might be back for the start of the playoffs, but they will not take any unnecessary risks.

The Dragons are thus looking at the market, but, as Gerd Zenhäusern tells the newspaper, while there are some players available, the market is far from full. They have time until March 2 to add another import player. For now, they can, however, count again on Lucas Wallmark, Simon Seiler, and Jan Dorthe.
