Noemi Ryhner suffered the injury in the National Cup last Friday. It is not yet clear when the forward will be able to train again, but for now it looks like she will not return to the ice again this season.
Ryhner will thus not only miss the remainder of the season, she will also not be able to play for Switzerland at the Olympics. It would have been her second Olympic Games.
