Nico Hischier was injured in the game against the Montreal Canadiens and is considered day-to-day. He went back to New Jersey to get evaluated. After that, the Devils might know more about the length of Hischier's absence.
The 26-year-old forward has recorded 24 goals and 19 assists in 51 games for the Devils this season.
