As EHC Kloten informs, Ludovic Waeber is sidelined for one to four weeks with a lower-body injury. On November 16, during the game against Genève-Servette HC, Waeber left the ice mid-way through the game. To react to his absence, Kloten has acquired the B-license of 21-year-old Mathieu Croce from their partner team in the Swiss League, HC Thurgau. He will serve as the backup of Sandro Zurkirchen.
Waeber, 28, has been averaging a save percentage of .914 in 15 games with EHC Kloten, the eighth-highest among goalies with at least nine games. For his part, Croce is seventh in the Swiss League with .932 (at least seven games played).
