Lian Bichsel is in the concussion protocol. The defenseman left the game against the New York Islanders early after a hit to the head by Casey Ciziaks. It thus remains to be seen whether he will be able to return to the Dallas Stars' lineup in a week.
Bichsel made his NHL debut this season. In 18 games for the NHL team, he has recorded two goals and three assists.
