Medical Report

After being hit face-first into the boards, the Finn had to be helped off the ice.

Only twelve minutes into last night's deciding act between Lausanne HC and HC Davos, the home team's Antti Suomela was the victim of a hit from behind. He was brought to the hospital for medical tests, but, as "24 heures" cites head coach Geoff Ward, was able to return later on to celebrate LHC's semifinal qualification.

Nonetheless, Suomela, the Lions' topscorer in both the regular season and the playoffs so far, will be undergoing another medical assessment today, as a possible concussion is not being ruled out just yet.
