According to "Radio RTN", the 29-year-old forward was injured in the third period of last night's game between HC La Chaux-de-Fonds and HC Sierre.
Oliver Achermann twisted his knee in the third period and left the ice on only one leg. He did not play again after the incident.
There was no further update provided on the forward, so it remains to be seen whether he will be in the lineup for HCC's next game.
