According to "Blick", the 27-year-old forward hurt his left shoulder about four minutes before the end of the game.
Noah Rod was pushed into the boards and seems to have suffered the injury at that time. He struggled to get off the ice and was then escorted into the locker room.
Jan Cadieux did not have an update on Rod after the game, but, according to the newspaper, the forward was brought to the hospital in Basel for further medical exams. It remains to be seen, whether Rod will miss some time.
