According to "Blick", the 29-year-old forward suffered a minor muscle injury in Tuesday's game against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
Team manager Martin Steinegger revealed that it is not a severe injury, but that Johnny Kneubuehler might miss this weekend's games.
Oskari Laaksonen is also on his way to recovery and might even play on Friday. If that is not possible, he should be able to make his comeback on Tuesday. Léo Braillard, for his part, is expected to be out of EHC Biel's lineup for a month.
