The defenseman of Lausanne HC sustained an upper-body injury, while the forward of EV Zug suffered from a concussion.
Lausanne HC
This is a short retreat with the national team for Fabian Heldner and Lara Stalder, who have both returned to Switzerland due to injuries. Heldner will have to undergo additional exams in Lausanne, while Stalder has been diagnosed with a concussion, which she sustained during a practice session.
The men's team will face Finland this afternoon in the first game of the Karjala Cup, while the women's team will play tomorrow against Sweden.
