Swedish forward Mattias Sjögren joins the ZSC Lions

The ZSC Lions have signed the Swedish forward Mattias Sjögren to a two-year contract. Sjögren, who played for the Russian team AK Bars Kazan of the KHL last year, will, therefore, stay in Zurich until spring of 2018.

After the city council, now also Zurich's city parliament has decided to support the ZSC Lions' arena project. In fall, the people of Zurich will decide the project's fate in a referendum.

Marc Lüthi elected president of the newly founded Alliance of European Hockey Clubs

SC Bern's CEO Marc Lüthi is now officially the president of the newly founded Alliance of European Hockey Clubs. The E.H.C. was founded in Berlin on Monday. Previously, Lüthi served as president ad interim.
