RUMOR - According to "Ticinonews" it cannot be ruled out that Calle Andersson, son of HC Lugano's assistant coach Peter, could follow his dad to the shores of lake Lugano.

The 19-year-old defender recently played with the Malmö Redhawks in Sweden's second highest league (Allsvenskan). In the past season, he was able to score three goals and ten assists in 49 games.

He is described as an all-around two-way defenseman, who contributes offensively and defensively. Furthermore he is skating well for a big guy (1,88m / 96kg) and has an impressive decision making. Andersson has been drafted by the New York Rangers in 2012 as 119th overall.

The native of Limhamm (SWE) is in possession of a CH-license, since he scratched the ice for the first time in Lugano at the time when his father Peter was playing in the colours of the Bianconeri between 1997 and 2001.
