Will HC Thurgau's Thomas Nüssli be a Tiger as of next season?

Thomas Nüssli is under contract with HC Thurgau until the end of the season. He has racked up 36 points (14 goals, 22 assists) in 32 games so far this year for HCTG.

Should HC Thurgau not qualify for the playoffs, there is a possibility that Nüssli could already join the Tigers for the upcoming NLB postseason. The former NHL draft pick has already played twice as a NLA playout reinforcement for the SCL Tigers in 2012 and 2013.
