The ZSC Lions about to sign Swede Henrik Tallinder as replacement for Smith?

The 35-year-old has an experience of more than 700 NHL games with the Buffalo Sabres and the New Jersey Devils. Without a new contract after the past season, he recently played with AHL's Hartford Wolfpack, where he tried to recommend himself to the New York Rangers - without success.

For Tallinder it would be a return to Switzerland. During the lockout season 2004-05, he reinforced SC Bern during the playoffs (1 goal and 1 assist in 10 games). The Swede (1,90m / 95kg) is considered to be a man for a solid defensive as well as physical game.
