Sean Simpson won't extend contract with the Swiss national team

Since the 2010 World Championship, Sean Simpson coaches the Swiss national team. At the end of the current season, this era is likely to come to an end. In an interview with the Südostschweiz, Simpson recently said that he likes to be the Swiss national coach, “but I am also a coach who loves the daily business with a club-team.”

If he should decide to leave the national team, he could wind up with the Adler Mannheim in the DEL, who are highly interested in signing the 53-year-old.
