The report of the Sportinformation indicates that everything is cut and dried: Simon Moser was called up from the Nashville Predators' AHL-affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, to join the NHL-team in the upcoming week before Sochi. This would mean, that Moser is going to join the Swiss national team later, as he will not be able to participate in their trainings camp.

However, Moser's promotion to the NHL is not yet confirmed. As his agent Georges Müller said via Twitter, it is still open if Moser will actually join the Predators and when he is going to join the Swiss national team. Up to this moment, Moser has not yet joined the Nashville Predators. Thus it is no suprise that an official confirmation by the Nashville Predators is still pending.
