According to Ticinonline, Lausanne HC is supposedly interested in acquiring Canadian forward Alexandre Giroux, who will not return to HC Ambrì-Piotta in the upcoming season.
The 34-year-old forward arrived in Switzerland in 2013 and played 167 games for EHC Kloten and HC Ambrì-Piotta, scoring 77 goals and 56 assists since then. At the end of March, he confirmed in a farewell letter to Ambrì's fans that he will not return to the Valascia for the 2016-17 season. (mso)
