As "Ticinonline" reports, the 33-year-old center Ville Viitaluoma, who is currently playing with Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho in the Finnish Liiga, would be the more likely chocie. He is also the captain of HPK and has scored 25 points in 45 games for his team this season.
Kris Newbury, a 31-year-old Canadian, would probably be a long shot, but HCAP is watching him closely. He is currently under a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League, but he is playing for their farm team, the Adirondack Phantoms, in the AHL. He can play all forward positions and has scored 33 points in 41 games for the Phantoms this season.
We will see, who HC Ambrì-Piotta is going to sign as replacement for Richard Park until the end of the season. Park had taken a hit to the head in the middle of January and has been out ever since.
