Ivo Rüthemann's future in hockey is not yet certain

The 37-year-old forward is currently in his last contracted year with SC Bern. According to Martin Steinegger, team manager of EHC Biel and longtime teammate, he is not yet sure, if he will continue his hockey career after this season.

In an interview with the Berner Zeitung the forward is confirming the statements of his former teammate: "At the beginning of the season, I was almost certain to continue playing in 2014/2015, now I'm no longer convinced."

Asked if Rüthemann would be a possible addition for EHC Biel, Steinegger admitted that his experience and professionalism would be good for the club, but that there are no plans to sign him at the moment.

Rüthemann has scored 709 points in 1056 games in the National League A.
