HC La Chaux-de-Fonds interested in Christophe Bays as Ciaccio replacement?

As the newspaper reports, HCC are pursuing different possibilities, one of which is GSHC’s backup for next season Christophe Bays. Bays could lose his spot as one of the two netminders for the Eagles in the case of an eventual signing of Robert Mayer.

Another option could be Federico Tamo, backup of GSHC for many years. This seems to be an unlikely option, though, as the goalkeeper has returned to Ticino to work in the pharmacy of his parents. Lastly, SCL Tigers’ Remo Giovannini seems to be a possibility as well.

At the same time, HCC is also still looking to sign a defenseman and a forward and is following what happens with certain players in the NLA, which could be loaned via B-Licenses. Jérémy Gailland (who is in try-outs with EHC Biel), Valentin Borlat, Daniel Eigenmann and Tim Ulmann, all from LHC, are potential candidates.
