RUMOR - As "Ticinonews" journalist Stefano Sala reports, HC Ambrì-Piotta is chasing after the 26-year-old Canadian Center Cory Emmerton - along with SHL's Linköping HC and the Malmö Redhawks.
Before he moved to HK Sochi in the Kontinental Hockey League last summer, Emmerton played in the organization of the Detroit Red Wings (2007-2014), where he was able to put up 23 points in a total of 147 NHL games.
With HK Sochi last season, the native of St.Thomas (Ontario, CAN) has completed 64 games, scoring 17 goals and twelve assists. (rlu)
