HC Fribourg-Gottéron might find the import they need in Finland, as there are already teams without chances of making the Playoffs this year, who are looking to shop their players. One of them is Ässät Pori, the team of former NHL- player and HCD lock-out star Niklas Hagman.
"Indeed, we are following closely what is is going on in Finland", HCFG's Raphaël Berger confirms to the website, adding though, that no contact has happened between club and player yet but that "a player of that profile could of course interest us."
The forward with the experience of 770 NHL games is in the last year of his contract with Ässät and their club manager told the Finnish newspaper Satakunnankansa, that the 34-year old might not be in their price range anymore next season. Also according to the same source, Hagman seems to be interested in playing for the Dragons.
