Yannick Weber has to leave the Vancouver Canucks

Yannick Weber and the Vancouver Canucks will part ways. As general manager Jim Benning confirms, the 27-year-old defenseman's contract will not be renewed.

Weber will thus become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. He has been a part of the Vancouver Canucks' organisation since 2013. There, Weber played a total of 165 games and scored 17 goals and 21 assists. (abu)
