Raphael Diaz had started his season with the Montréal Canadiens but was traded to Vancouver at the beginning of February. After only six games in the Canucks jersey, the 28-year-old from Baar has now been moved to the New York Rangers in exchange for a fifth round draft pick in 2015.

Reto Berra signed an entry-level contract with the Calgary Flames last summer and is in his first NHL season. In 29 games, the 27-year-old has posted a .897 SV% and registered nine wins for the Flames. Now the Swiss international is headed to the Colorado Avalanche, while Calgary receives a second round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft in return.
