As the Vancouver Canucks announce, they have extended the contract of Sven Bärtschi for another two years. The deal is worth $3.7 million. The first year will get him $2 million, the second $1.7 million.
The 23-year-old forward has been part of the Canucks' organisation since March 2015 and has played in 69 games for them, scoring 15 goals and 13 assists. His contract will run through 2018 at an AAV of $1.875 million. (mso)
