The Columbus Blue Jackets have trimmed their training camp roster by three players, including Dean Kukan. The 23-year-old will thus start the 2016-17 season with their AHL-affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters.

The Swiss defenseman, who had signed an entry-level contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets in June last year, appeared in a total of eight NHL-games last season. Moreover, he suited up in 50 games for their former AHL-affiliate the Lake Erie Monsters (four goals, 14 assists) and managed to win the Calder Cup trophy.
