Cody Almond delays decision about his future

NHL/NLA - Cody Almond was set to make his decision concerning his future today, according to media reports from yesterday. This afternoon however, he took to Twitter and left a message to his fans.

The 24-year-old forward thanks his fans in his tweet and says that he is not yet sure about his professional future and he will take his decision one day at the time, meaning that he has not yet decided where he will play from now on.

Almond will have to report to the AHL-affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, the Iowa Wild, if he decides to stay in North America. If he chooses to return to Switzerland, he has a five-year contract with Genève-Servette HC waiting for him. For now, however, his decision has been delayed.
