As the San Jose Sharks announce, they have sent Swiss forward Timo Meier down to their AHL affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda.
The 20-year-old forward had been recalled by the Sharks in the middle of March and has played six games for them since then - his last against the Calgary Flames on Friday. In total, Meier has appeared in 32 NHL games for the Sharks this season thus far, scoring three goals and three assists.
