As James Wisniewski announces on his Twitter account, he has signed with the Chicago Wolves and has thus found a new team after having parted ways with Admiral Vladivostok prior to the Spengler Cup.

The 32-year-old defenseman had played for HC Lugano throughout the Spengler Cup and had been interested in extending his stay in Switzerland, as his agent Aljoša Pilko told "swisshockeynews.ch" at the beginning of January.

However, Wisniewski has for now only been signed to a 25-game professional tryout, as Darren Dreger (TSN) reports. The defenseman, who started his NHL career with the Chicago Blackhawks, will join the Wolves next Thursday.
